A social responsibility is an ethical or ideological theory that whether it is a government, corporation, organization or individual has a responsibility to society at large. Does that mean we are socially responsible for our friends? Let’s say you are at a restaurant with a group of friends and a new guy you are introducing them to for the first time. At the dinner table he begins to discuss an infection he has on his big toe. Should you be socially responsible for not training him how to speak around you friends or better yet, the dinner table? Or let's say you decided to meet up with a long lost friend today. You invite her to meet you at a popular shop where you are a regular. When she shows up she looks like the wonderful young lady pictured above! Are you socially responsible for your friend?

That picture is gross, but if her friends were SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE, they would've told her not to wear that.
You can only talk to someone so much... A person can only change thier ways - how they dress or otherwise- if they really want to.
This was a very disturbing blog post. I am socially responsible for my friends. I don't want to hang around anybody dumber than me, people who can't dress, or so on.
I dont think you should be responsible for your friends but for yourself...but you can give your friends some advice.
