Pregnancy Rates (Black v.s Caucasian)

According to government statistics, African American teenagers have a higher pregnancy rate than Caucasian teenagers. After watching the movie "Pregnancy Pact" I discovered that those statistics may not be necessarily true. Caucasian parents try their hardest to hide the fact that their children slipped up and had unprotected sex. In reality shows like "Teen Mom," all the featured characters are Caucasian. I don't see how African American teenagers have a higher pregnancy rate. I know that there is more to the situation than what is visual. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen to teens of the African American race but I am saying that I don't neccessarily beileve the "stastics." Just something that was on my mind!
